Without our even noticing, our minds have been co-opted. Our insecurities are exploited by advertisers and slickly enhanced images of glamorised young people infiltrate our minds to the extent that normal human bodies are now perceived as ugly. We have been taught to judge ourselves by stereotypes that are constructs, not human. So what exactly has been ‘Bewitched’ – the glamorous formerly-young women in the images or our own perceptions?

But inherent in my work is a love of paradox and the ridiculous, so a potentially turgid view of life results in work which is seldom without its slightly more risible side.
